# Claude File Optimization Fix Test Results

## Changes Made

1. **Fixed Error Handler Registration**
   - Added registration for 'status' event handler (agent manager doesn't have 'error' event)
   - Updated cleanup function to remove status handler
   - Status handler now checks for 'error' status

2. **Added optimization:complete Event Emission**
   - Emit event on successful optimization (line 77-81)
   - Emit event on error in catch block (line 93-97)
   - Emit event on timeout (line 175)
   - Emit event on agent error status (line 265)

3. **Fixed Timeout Handler**
   - Added progress emission with 'failed' status before resolving
   - Added completion event emission with timeout error

4. **Fixed Message Handler**
   - Already emits completion event when optimization succeeds

## Key Code Changes

### In `waitForOptimizationResult`:

## Testing Instructions

1. Start Claudito server
2. Open a project with CLAUDE.md file
3. Click "Claude Files" button
4. Click "Optimize" button
5. Verify:
   - Loading mask appears with "Starting optimization agent..." message
   - Progress updates to "Processing optimization response..."
   - On completion: diff view shows changes
   - On error: loading mask disappears with error message

## Expected Behavior

- **Success**: Loading mask → Progress messages → Diff view with changes
- **Timeout**: Loading mask → "Optimization timed out" error → Modal returns to normal
- **Agent Error**: Loading mask → "Agent encountered an error" → Modal returns to normal
- **Network Error**: Loading mask → Specific error message → Modal returns to normal
